You may recall that in my post of June 15 I mentioned in a project that is close to my heart and I promised to tell you about it soon: promise kept, I'm here to tell you everything!
The project is called "Cuori per amore” (Hearts for love) and is a fantastic initiative that I found by chance on Facebook and to which I joined immediately.
Its goal is to unite the forces of the embroiderers who have joined to make a bedspread, made up all of their embroidery, to be donated to charity to “Maria Letizia Verga” Committee, which deals with assistance to children suffering from leukemia, also promoting and financing research projects and scholarships for young doctors.
To participate, just embroider a heart of 15x15cm maximum size, on a white, cream or ecru canvas, 25x25cm, (leaving the basting of 15x15 to facilitate the work of those who will assemble the embroidery).
The bedspread will be exhibited at the Fair "Passione Creativa" on 23-24-25 September 2016 in Mariano Comense (CO) and it appears that - given the high number of participants - if all keep their word, they will be carried out two, plus a series of other objects which will then be sold to raise funds.
What's more beautiful than many people who join forces for good?
To send hearts there is time until August 30, so if you want to participate, you are still in time!
Find all information on this Facebook page, where you can see the stitches of the other participants: they are beautiful!

I can’t wait to see the bedspreads and other objects that will be realized and I am proud for giving my small contribution.

Well, this time I can really say it took my heart ... see you soon!
